Alex Arndt of The Sonic Universe created a YouTube series on his channel, called "Red Couch Sessions - Requests Only."  The series caught the attention of several press outlets and in late 2018, it garnered interviews.  The series' mission is to deliver a unique interpretation of familiar songs utilizing quality sound and video while in the red couch studio.

Lastly, Arndt will always attribute a lot of the early Sonic Universe material to crossing paths with his soul-collaborator, Kay Glynn, while attending a songwriting conference years ago.  Arndt and Glynn co-wrote the freshman album by Alex Arndt & The Sonic Universe - Sonic Paradigm.
