In the summer of 2016, The Sonic Universe was featured with DJ / Producer / Singer, Amanda Darling for a performance at Ultra Music Festival Korea at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul. This charismatic duo is breathing new life into the EDM world. With a fusion of trance, rock and electrifying live vocals, they transform audiences with their high vibrational energy. Amanda and Alex released their latest hit song, "A Way" with three versions on Beatport and two music videos on Christmas Day, 2016.

In 2017, The Sonic Universe picked up a sensational drummer by the name of Joseph Drew (aka. Jo Jo). Drew's talent has garnered significant attention in the music world. He is sponsored by multiple world-famous drum companies and is a very successful session musician. He's performed for the Country Music Awards and has songwriting credits on current charting records. More on Jo Jo in his welcome blog.
Lastly, Arndt will always attribute a lot of the early Sonic Universe material to crossing paths with his soul-collaborator, Kay Glynn, while attending a songwriting conference years ago. Arndt and Glynn co-wrote the freshman album by Alex Arndt & The Sonic Universe - Sonic Paradigm.
